Calling Young Artists!

Our Dublin studio is excited to be collaborating with Grasshopper Events in facilitating free online Character Creation Workshops for Cruinniú na nÓg on June 12th!

The workshops will be tailored for ages 5-8 years, 9-12 years and 13-15years. Our Brown Bag artists will show how to create characters and explain the work of an animator.

Create a Character!

In advance of the workshops children and young people are invited to create their own character. We’d love to see the most imaginative character creations possible. The character can be based on a person, an animal, a sea creature, an insect, or a totally invented creation!

Submissions are Open to:

Children aged 5-15 years, living in Dublin or attending school in Dublin.

Submissions Selection:

Three submissions from each of the age categories listed above will be selected and will be featured in the Character Creation Workshops for Cruinniú na nÓg on June 12th. The selected entrants will each receive a printed, board mounted copy of their character drawing and a selection of art materials!

The deadline to submit artwork is May 14th, you can enter via Cruinniú na nÓg's submission form!

More information on the workshops will be available on the Cruinniú na nÓg website in the run up to the event.
