Rosie’s Rules is an animated preschool comedy series that follows the adventures of Rosie Fuentes, an inquisitive and hilarious 5-year-old girl just starting to learn about the wow-mazing world beyond her family walls. And she is ready to learn it all… by figuring it out herself.

Each episode begins with Rosie encountering a new concept—like how mail is delivered or what family traditions mean—with the aim of helping children ages 3–6 explore how the world works through relatable, everyday experiences. As Rosie learns, she creates her own “rules” that reflect her discoveries, blending humor, heart, and practical insights. These rules range from silly (“Don’t try to mail your cat to Mexico”) to sweet (“There’s nothing better than making your Abuela happy”) and help reinforce the episode’s learning theme. The series incorporates both English and Spanish language elements, celebrating Rosie’s multicultural family and community.

Rosie’s Rules is created by Emmy Award-winning writer and author Jennifer Hamburg (Dora the Explorer, Go Diego Go!, Santiago of the Seas), with Maria Escobedo (Grey’s Anatomy, Elena of Avalor, Ninas World) acting as Story Editor. Produced by 9 Story Media Group and animated by our Brown Bag Films Toronto studio, Rosie’s Rules combines engaging storytelling, catchy music, and a strong social studies curriculum to empower young viewers to understand their place in the world.

The series features the voices of Ellora López as Rosie Fuentes, Ana Sofia Ferrer as Rosie’s singing voice, Carlos Diaz as Papá (Marco Fuentes), Denise Oliver as Liz Fuentes (Rosie’s mom) and Gatita (Rosie’s cat), Oscar Whalen as Iggy Fuentes, Gabby Clarke as Crystal Fuentes, Amanda Martínez as Abuela, Desmond Zavier-Sivan as Javi, and Paloma Nuñez as Tía Margarita. 

The series premiered on October 3, 2022 on PBS KIDS.
