Top Wing is an action-adventure preschool series that follows a team of eager, young cadets training at the Top Wing Academy. These rescue Cadets help their community, go on amazing adventures, and “earn their wings” as full-feathered rescue cadets. Together, four best friends race to the rescue, support each other, and “learn on the fly.”
Set on Big Swirl Island, the series centers on Swift, Rod, Penny, and Brody as they train under their mentor, Speedy. Each mission challenges them to take on daring rescues, assist their island neighbors, and discover important lessons about friendship, problem-solving, and perseverance.
Created by Matthew Fernandes (Yup Yups, Gummandos), and developed by Scott Kraft, Top Wing is produced for Nickelodeon.
The voice cast includes Jonah Wineberg (Swift, Season 1), Tristan Mercado (Swift, Season 2), Ethan Pugiotto (Rod), Lucas Kalechstein (Brody), Abigail Oliver (Penny), and Colin Doyle (Speedy), with additional voices by Bryn McAuley, Raven Dauda, Joseph Motiki, and Cory Doran. Music is composed by Steve D’Angelo, Terry Tompkins, and Lorenzo Castelli.
Top Wing premiered on Nickelodeon on November 6, 2017 and later aired on Treehouse TV in Canada.
