StoryBots: Answer Time is a Netflix original animated series where the curious and lovable StoryBots—Beep, Boop, Bing, Bang, and Bo—answer fascinating questions from kids and adults. Each episode dives into complex topics using humor, music, and engaging visuals, helping children explore science, technology, and the world around them. With a fresh comic-inspired art style and appearances from celebrity guests, Answer Time makes learning fun, accessible, and unforgettable for young viewers.
StoryBots: Answer Time is the third installment in the popular StoryBots franchise created by Evan and Gregg Spiridellis. It follows the original StoryBots shorts and the Emmy-winning series Ask the StoryBots in continuing the tradition of answering curious questions with humor, music, and engaging animation.
In Answer Time, the StoryBots return to to tackle intriguing questions while delivering plenty of laughs. Questions like “Why do people get dizzy?” and “How do lasers work?” are answered with fun, bite-sized explanations that are enjoyable for kids and grown-ups alike. Unlike previous StoryBots shows, Answer Time introduces a new comic-inspired art style and focuses on “Level 3” questions—more complex problems posed by adults. Each episode features one StoryBot venturing into a digital world to uncover answers, often with the help of quirky new StoryBot characters.
The show blends humor, music, and science to make learning fun and accessible, with original songs and guest appearances from celebrities like Danny DeVito, Zooey Deschanel, Anne Hathaway, Sophie Turner, Judy Greer, Jeff Gill and Nate Theis.
StoryBots: Answer Time features incredible animation work from our Brown Bag Films Toronto studio. The team contributed to the main story animation for each episode, handling production assets, rigging, scene planning, FX, and comp work.
The series premiered on Netflix on November 21, 2022.
